Back to the hum-drum

Months of finding people, weeks of planning, days of getting excited about seeing all the faces from 1980, and poof - it's the morning after. I had such a great time but it's never long enough. I would imagine there are those who hoped to come even up until Thursday night or Friday morning - probably still thinking "maybe I'll just get in the car and go." - but in the end they couldn't or decided against it and now it's Sunday. They probably have the same feeling the rest of us do. It's a let down at least for me. I hope those who celebrated our 30th reunion in person had a really good time. I hope those of us who couldn't come were with us in spirit and I hope everyone will take a minute and mark on either their 2015 or 2020 calendars to keep in touch (don't let us lose your contact info), plan now to attend the next one. Next time, we will all have passed the major 50 milestone or possibly approaching 60. Can you even imagine? We must celebrate no matter how old we get. MHS 1980 rocks!
